Hello ERC5 Members

The summer is upon us. Hopefully that means that you will have a little more time with your families and having some fun in the sun. I just want to take a minute to let those of you that may not know that Sylvia Poole is leaving her position as Executive Director of the ERC5. Her last day will be Friday, August 13th.

Sylvia will be greatly missed by the ERC5 Board and especially me. She has been instrumental in the development of the ERC5 Chamber. Her attention to detail, willingness to help anyone and ability to keep all of the ERC5 plates spinning, even when she had five people trying to tell her which one to spin next, will be very difficult to replace.

For me personally, she has held my hand all the way through this term as the ERC5 Chairperson. Sylvia made me look good and I will forever be grateful for her guidance. She is a one of a kind and I have been fortunate to have worked with her.

I hope you will join me in wishing Sylvia the best as she moves on to her new adventure.
