Longmeadow
Longmeadow is one of the most affluent residential communities in Western Massachusetts.
A community of beautiful homes, Longmeadow is notable for its classic green surrounded by Colonial and Federal style dwellings. Bay Path College, a four-year private women s college, is located here.
The town also boasts a wealth of recreational areas, including the 340-acre Fanny Stebbins Wildlife Refuge, two country clubs, a 370-acre conservation area and two recreational parks: Turner Park and Bliss Road Park.
Two shopping areas serve the community, and the primary businesses here are retail establishments.
The Town of Longmeadow is managed through town selectmen, a town administrator and an open town meeting.
